Instruments of
Delinquency — fictitious
entities.
1 Physical force
2 Intimidation
3 Remuneration
4 Deception
By instruments of delinquency, understand
entities of any sort, considered as capable of being
employed in, and being made subservient to,
the infliction of wrong in any shape. In the
convenience of discourse, supposed beings which
have no existence, spoken of as if they had, &
may on that on account be spoken of under
the denomination of fictitious entities. All noun
substances for example that are not the names
of real beings are the names of fictitious entities.
To real entities, the name of corporeal
has been given by lawyers, to fictitious, that
of incorporeal, capable of being employed
as corporeal instruments of delinquency are all persons
and all things: Examples Of incorporeal entities
capable of being, employed as instruments
of delinquency. Examples of are
1. Physical force.
2. Intimidation.
3. Remuneration.
4. Deception.
To the bodily faculties of the patient applies
physical force; to the will, intimidation and remuneration;
to the understanding deception. In no one
