Offences principal and accessory
§. 1
Offences principal and accessory – Cooffender or
say Codelinquents – These topics require to be considered together
conjunctly, and that of Offences principal and accessory
in the first place. Why first? Because To answer this
question, the expression Offences principal and accessory
must be
Principal offence in every case, consummative
the offence in a consummate state. Distinguishable states
antecedent to this are 1. preparation, 2. attempt.
The offence consummated, there delinquency is at
an end: not so of by
observation of which the delinquency and the delinquent
may be brought to light.
In the course of delinquency, here there are
four stages: in any one of these stages observation may
be taken of the relative steps of the delinquent.
And in each stage the delinquent the principal
delinquent whichever he may have been :
