Penal Code§. Co-offenders
factitious interests and motive, money
paid to a hired assassin or co-adjutor. Of
these distinctions what can be the use. Answer.
1. Penning the descriptions accordingly: for
Example for the purpose of the instrument of
accusation.
2. Appointing means of repression in
quality and quantity correspondent with the
above differences.
Note that, unless for this purpose any
decided demand for diversification can
be seen to have place, the best course
is to make no difference with respect to
the means of repression, and in particular
in respect of the punishment. Best this
course, because the simplest; for in no
case, can simplicity as opposed to complication
be unattended with advantage.
Reason for hunting out as many co-offenders
as the case happens to with a view to compensation furnish. 1. The greater
the number, the greater the pecunicy, for the
forthcomingness of an adequate compensation.
2. The more they are the less heavy the burden
of compensation will light on each
all being sharers in the guilt, all should be sharers in the punishment.
But if the number, smaller beyond a certain pitch, the
aggregate mass of punishment may amount to a quantum of expenditure
so great as to exceed the demand created for the purpose of determent.
In this case, the a resource may be, setting the
whole to cash lots.
