Into the taking part in the commission of one and the
same species persons in any number may be engaged
each by a different species of motive: and the mischievous
result of the evil of the first order being given, great is the influence which in may
be exercised on the evil of the second order by the nature of
the motive coupled with the opportunity given to the man by
his solicitor to obtain or try to obtain the gratification of
the correspondent desire.
