§. 16. Elopement.
3. Where without having provided any adequate means
for causing the monies due from him to be rendered by some other
competent hand or hands he has engaged in and entered upon some
engagement of the fulfilment
of which it
incompatible with
his fulfilment fullfilling the
obligations attached
to this condition: for
instance embarking
on a voyage so distant
or embarking entering into military
service on terms
so strict as to be productive
of the effect.
5. Analogous is desertion in this sense on the part of
a Guardian, a Father or a Husband, to Ep Eloprment
on the part of a Servant, a Child Non Adult under Parental
Guardianship, and a Wife.

see Law of Guardian and Ward under
their respective titles.
So in the case of a Father Fathership Law of Father and
Child, in the case of Husbandship, Law of Husband and
Wife.
4. To constitute this offence, the actual existence
of an intention never to resume the functions attached
to this condition is not necessary. For if an intention
of this sort neither this as proof can not
so neither can disproof be given, and from by the appearance
of such an intention the same demand
for remedial measures of all sorts may be produced
as by the reality.
