Penal Code

Of Offences as respecting exercise conduct titles: a Of offences
operating in infringement breach of the obligations or in infringement
of the rights attached to the several conditions
in life.

Follow the general heads under which the evils
producible by such breach and such infringement
may be classed ranked.† In every political state laws
for the regulation of the conduct of the persons respectively
invested with in possession of their condition have place or
are likely to have place. Laws Hence the Particular
Codes respectively intituled Laws of Master
and Servant, Law of Guardian and Ward,
Law of Father and Child, Law of Husband
and Wife. In so far as If the class designated indicated by
these laws of the modes of evil designated by those
names of offences the consecration be compleat
the particular regulations made in those several
Codes will all of them, in so far as they are directed the direction
to a given to them is the proper one be a proper object, be directed to the prevention exclusion of
one or more of those evils. If so, on the occasion
of each article or every or groupe of connected articles
in each such Code it may be of use that the name or names evil or
evils to the prevention of which those articles are respectively
directed should be attached to them. In this
case breaches of those laws will res by the respective Legislature
at least be have been regarded as an Offence coming respectively under those several
denominations, and
the matter of the several
portions of those Codes
will be so much
