Pardon by Lapse of Time

An offence may be said to be pardoned by
lapse of time, where after a certain time has elapsed
since the commission of the offence, it is no
longer lawful to prosecute the offender.

The following offences shall not be pardoned
by any lapse of time: viz:

1. Murder
2. Disablement when malicious and compleatly wilful
2. Disfigurement when malicious and compleatly wilful.
3. Disablement when malicious and compleatly wilful.
4. Incendiarism.
5. Malicious Inundation.

In the English Law, offences against the Coin are
pardoned by a lapse of time to the amount of 6
months.
