Objections 1. Complication
Objection 1. complication. Chapters in this
code, occupied in the statement of so many classes
of private wrongs, public-private included, which on the
part of one individual are capable of being taken for the
subject of complaint against another, and as in
almost every one of these cases, the supposed wrongdoing
and complaint is capable of being reciprocal,
thus is the possible number of wrongs complained of,
and separate suits capable of being withstood doubled

answer — True, or, at any rate, to such a degree
approaching to the truth, that no deviation
could be pointed out, would to the present purpose be worth
notice.
But cases there are and cases which every
day are occurring in vast abundance, in which
though the compleation be to an indefinite, it may
almost be said to an infinite amount greater, the
compleatedness of the enquiry, forms no objection to the
engaging in it. amongst other cases of this description
to take that which is at the same time, the strongest &
most frequently exemplified case, which is the case of a
suit no matter whats the technical name of it may be
caused on by party on party, or parties on parties in any number on the
score of account —
