Penal Code
Punishments characteristic for petty Officers in line
of fire rendered inapplicable by for want of means of payment.
The convict being stationed in a conspicuous place on the
outside of the prison; exposed to public view, but protected against
suffering by intense heat, cold, or wet.
Applicable, sources are all of the instruments employed
for aid of the Judge in the exercise of his sedative functions
viz. 1. Gag. 2. Strait waistcoat. 3. Hand or Strait
petticoat.
1. For vituperative language over the head the mark of a
Parrots or a Magpie's head.
2. For a blow or blows without a weapon the right
hand fastened by a cord to a beam above, after having
been rendered whipped bloody by a bunch of thorns.
