so ever, no punishment except in a few confined cases, and except in as far as it involves
in it a specific calumny. an act of specific defamation. Even the notion idea
of defamation is narrow'd much beyond within the range its proper
limits. of its mischievousness. For personal insult for insulting threats no punishment,
except & in as far as it involves a personal
injury. For insulting threats no punishment at all. For No punishment in any of these cases but
the inefficient analogous punishments
of imprisonment and fire. For personal insulting contemptuous
