Offences against the Law of Nations, what The cases in which the tendency of an offence might
be in the way of provocation to bring on or aggravate
upon the state in question the hostilities
of another are most of them brought under an
anomalous and but and afforded by imperfectly — determined class
to which it is common to give the name of
Offences against the Law of Nations. Under this
title are generally comprised, the offence of violating
the privileges of Embassadors, that of violating safe-conducts
that of male-treating persons sent with
a flags of truce, and the Offence of Piracy.
