-tinue from 6 o'clock till 9 and at 8 he hast lost 10'
of one man, and gained won 5' of another and at
no time afterwards the sum his losses have exceeded by more
than to that amount 5' the sum of his game:
he may be prosecuted as for losing 5': and though
may still be p at the conclusion of the meeting he
should even be a winner upon the whole he may
be prosecuted as for losing 5' notwithstanding.

Let the Judge on this occasion beware that
he be not deceived by stories of pretended winning
trumped up to set in ballance against the losings.

Excessive gaming committed in a single instance If any man shall have lost at play [or had at stake] in
the course of any one sitting meeting to the amount of one
week's income his punishment shall be as follows

Punishment

Punishment 1. He shall forfeit not less than to the same amount

benefit of the informer.
