+ See Tit. of Punishments. the offender shall be scorched with fire, till the fat of his body drop
into the fire. + This may be done once or oftner. As his crime was
inhuman so shall his punishment be terrible. By fire he sinned,
by fire he shall be tormented.

Aggravation IV.

Aggravation 4. Taking advantage of Shipwreck.
4. When Advantage (A) is taken of the calamity of Shipwreck.

In this case over and above the ordinary punishment,
the offender shall be drowned recoverably or irrecoverably. + If recoverably
it may be done once or oftner. Through water he sinned;
through water he shall be tormented.
