I suppose the act then to have originated from the been committed
motive of Anger: I suppose the event not only to have been
foreseen, but to have been intended, and under those lacking these
circumstances I for the circumstances from which
the original & general idea of the crime is to be taken, I shall
enquire what the mischief is which [under these circumstances]
it is the notion of it in general to produce.

First then With regard then to it's private mischief. The
private mischief of this crime is that 1st the degree
of pain if any over and above by which
the pain of the violent death in question exceeds
the mean quantity of the pain produced by a
natural death And so on, as before.

not as the real value of life but as the apparrent

the quantum of the danger apprehended it is usual
to think of the organical pain preceding
the violent death but not to think of the organical pain
