POPERY Provisions succedaneous. 1
Laws against Papists, to be ipso facto revived
for a time certain as 2 years
upon the address of either House of Parliament,
or of the Grand Jury for 6 or 10 Counties

Estates of Papists may escheat to the Crown
on failure of Heirs of the degree of 1st Cousins
with their lineal descendants & to be sold for
the benefit of the Public — but the Heir with power to the
Crown to grant to the Heir a sum of money
not exceeding of 1/4 of the purchase money
received.

Estates not to be devisable nor chargeable by devise
in favor of relations more remote than as above not
being Protestants.

The Mass. House not to be absolutely shut shut up
upon a conversion, but only the convert to bear
the mark. — The conversion to be register'd
before any Sacrament &c can be administer'd.
