DISSENTERS Penal Laws — Expedient proposed.

Laws against Protestant Dissenters to be revisable upon an
address of either House of Parliament, or of
the Grand Juries of 11 Counties, as proposed
for those against Papists.

The Bishops' acceptance or non-rejectionacceptance of
this expedient will be a the test, whether there
opposition to the repeal of the final laws
against those people be for the sake of preventing
them from doing mischief, or of making
them to suffer mischief.
