THEFT DOG Act 10 G.3.19

//4 How is the limitation of 4 days consistent
with that of 14 in the next clause?
Is not the time of 4 days too short for an Appeal
especially in the case of sickness or accident?

Suppose
When is the Appeal to be lodged? can it be
lodged at any time? After all does this 4 days limit the time for Appealing or what does it do or what does it mean

Suppose no Attorney can be found time soon enough
to lodge the Appeal within the time: or he
should have his hands full & be unable to execute the business?
It is may not be immediately that the Idea of appealing
may occur to the party grieved, unless he has that part of
the Act, which the Informer & probably the
Justice will not be forward to shew him.
