Sugden does not like
recovery by distress. Good
reason why: distress is not
suit. Proof to landholders
of his care for their interests.

necessary in addition
to the ample proof
afforded in so many
shapes by Lord Redesdale,
of the preeminent
inaptitude of
learned gentlemen,
for every thing that
can be conducive
to the ends of justice.
