Box 78 contains Bentham's writings on real property and on the works of James Humphreys (1768-1830), whose 'Observations on the actual state of the English laws of real property, with the Outlines of a Code' was first published in 1826. Bentham's writings on real property were published in the Westminster Review in October 1826 (vol. vi, no. xii, pp. 446-507) and were later included in The Works of Jeremy Bentham, now first Collected; under the Superintendence of his Executor, John Bowring, Edinburgh, 1838-43, v. 387-416.
