1 Case
XIII Jurisdiction Split.

Per Bingham at Q.S.P. 11 Jany 1829

1 Judges take an oath of office.
Particulars shall be obtained.

2 The undersheriff cannot appoint a
deputy to preside on inquisitions, but
the sheriff may and constantly does
appoint a substitute for the undersheriff.
Particularly in London and Middlesex,
where the office is seldom or never
executed by the undersheriff, but by
a substitution. In Middlesex the
business of substitute has has descended
from father to son, the son
having been trained to it, and performing
it to the satisfaction of suitors.

3. A common law cause in the law
side of the Exchequer may be staid
by an injunction issuing out of the
Equity side of the Exchequer.
