1829. April
Petitions.
Supplement.
Now for the corresponding portions of the
here proposed system.
Before the eyes of the reader has been
that part of the here proposed system, which, in the
Prayer of the Petition, is placed under the head of Procedure.
Numbered paragraphs occupied by it, 18: viz
from 28. to 47. both inclusive: pages from 185. to 194. Of
the arrangements brought to view and proposed in the
aggregate of those same paragraphs, not one will be found
in the Justice of Peace Summary procedure, taken in
the aggregate.
In respect to each one of them the there proposed
arrangements, questions, which it is desired of each
reader that he would put – in the first place to himself,
in the next place to any person whom he holds converse
with on the subject, these. It is useless? is it needless?
As to usefulness, does it not afford some promise of
proving contributory to the end declared to be in view?
As to needlessness, is this the matter in question on anything resembling it,
as yet visible in any other publication which has
anywhere made its appearance?
So much for Procedure.
