Petitions
From the continent of Europe a few rays of
light may (it is hoped) be not unwelcome to an English eye. In the
field of law, two subjects there are which have for some time attracted general been giving exercise to
a peculiar and well deserved attention:– On The Danish Reconciliation
Courts, and the aggregate of Bonaparte's Codes:
in which an arrange in the composition of which last, an eye
has manifestly been kept – partly to English Justice of Peace
laws, partly to those same Reconciliation Danish Courts.
