Supplement
5 §.11 Elucidations
Reconciliation.

10
By Reconciliation system
Lawyer's opinion trade
lessened, by proposed
system, extinguished.

By the Reconciliation System the Lawyers Opinion
trade is lessened: by the here proposed system it is extinguished
altogether. By the Reconciliation System a better
as well as cheaper almost unexpensive guess is given to what, on the subject in question, if applied
to, the Judge will do than is given in the course of
what is done in the carrying on of the Lawyer's Opinion
trade: by under the here proposed system this disastrous branch of trade
is extinguished altogether. The Judge in being applied to
says informs the applicant or applicants at once what it
is he will do: he stifles in embryo all guesses: he anticipates and intercepts the demand for all guesses and to what
ever it is that he does, the time it takes him less time the no so muc is not
so great as even that which it takes the best guesser — the
Reconciliation Commissioner to form and deliver his guess at what the
he (the Judge) will do.

11
Under existing system
Opinionist business encreased
in proportion
to Judge delay & uncertainty

The fee-fed Judge, by every particle minute of delay and
degree of uncertainty he adds to those under which he finds his course
encumbered overhung makes additional business for his younger junior
brethren who in the trade capacity of Opinionists are occupied in
selling guesses at what he will do: and the compliment accommodation he affords them
thus paid to them is retained by them by the ungrounded and even groundless demands
which consulting Clients are encouraged engaged by the
to differ and in grounded and even groundless defences
which consulting Clients are encouraged engaged to maintain
and the impression ill-adapted forms manner in which by advice those demands and
encouraged to be are those defences are caused to be carried on

12
Joint maleficent endeavours of
Judges Advocates Attorneys
& Opinionists

Between the one and the other of it depended on their
wishes and endeavours, as much of criminality maleficence as may be
necessary to raise to its maximum the quantity of lawyers
profit in the shape of Judge, Judges minstrel assistant, Advocate
Attorney, and Opinionists, and as much of the aggregate quantity
of time as is necessary to the exercise of the same quantity
of maleficence: and thus over and above what was necessary
to the production of the quantity of the matter of wealth consumed
by the lawyer and the of that the existence of which fund
the existence of which is necessary to the extraction of the such
lawyers
lawyers share the whole
of human life would
be open: in the enjoyment
derivable from the matter of wealth
by other men no other
quantity than was
necessary to it swelling
to its maximum the lawyers share in and thence giving the relatively necessary magnitude to the fund out of which, it is necessary it should as above be extracted.
