6. Now for the opinion declared by the those Danish rulers in question
of the effect of the fee-gathering and self-paying mode of remuneration
for judicial service, the incompatibility opposition it produces
between interest and duty, the sacrifice which it necessitates
of duty to private interest, the partnership of the form of Ju com form of Judge & Co which it
sets up, the community of sinister interest between which it establishes between
the official and the professional branches of the partnership, and
the substitution it produces of the pursuit of the actual ends of judicature
to that of the ends of justice.

Page 26. Advocates and Attorneys stand absolutely
excluded from the number of the persons, who are capable
of being elected members of these Reconciliation Commissions.

they would naturally be disposed to throw in the way of the
termination of their differences elsewhere than in the Law
Courts [This object (says the original in a parenthesis] will be
treated upon considered/brought to view more at length further on or in the sequel here below (a) a or in b.
