This class when they speak of litigation as an evil, and the repression
of it as a good, provided always that it is by this
instrument the effect is produced know what it is they say. Advocating
in this instance their own cause, they thereby discourse and argue
with the sort of that disposition and practice in respect of
sincerity which is attached to the profession of advocate. They behold
in the plaintiff's word litigation and in the repression of litigation
instruments of delusion by which the authority a too large portion of the people are
in fact deluded, and of this delusion they take advantage.

Another class of those who, though themselves sufferers
as no man can fail of being, by the tax they imposed upon the
services of the Judge, and such security as is derived from this:
yet for the sake of a collateral benefit which they desire from
the tax, are content to pay it: content in such sort that they
would oppose the abolition of it. These are they who behold

exultation in part constantly applied on either part at any

causing a relatively poor man to suffer in , he gives him

Common Law most men are capable of being ruined, by a suit
