§.6. Danish Reconciliation

Suppose reconciliation
Either 1 Plaintiff obtains
his Cor whole demand or 2
he obtains none or 3 he
obtains part

Now then by the supposition Now then Supposing that state of things which
is regarded as and termed as reconciliation to have place, one or other of
imaginable states of things must be realised 1. The proposed plaintiff obtains
the whole value of his demand the benefit demanded by him 2. the plaintiff obtains a
part more or less considerable of that same but at any rate no more
than a part of that same demand benefit 3. the plaintiff obtains not
any part how inconsiderable so ever of that same benefit in the value
of it. In the first p case such is the effect of the intervention of the Tribunal Commissioners
the by the defendant a total sacrifice is made of the
object of the wishes which on this occasion he can not but have
formed: in the second case a like total sacrifice is made by a
plaintiff: in the third case a partial sacrifice is made has place on
both sides.

Now then for the bringing about these several effects which are
the inducements which these same Commissioners are here to present to
these same parties

1. For compliance with the demand, inducements, capable of being
presented to the view of the proposed defendant, these

1. If In the event of your non-compliance, the demand will be presented
to the ordinary Judicatory, and this being an expensive one, you
will not by non compliance ultimately escape from the burthen correspondent to
the demanded benefit, and the expence and vexation to which
you will be subjected by the suit will be so much not less. Sole
state of things in which you can be a gainer by non-compliance, one
of those already herein above brought to view.

2. Capable of being proposed presented to the view of the diehard plaintiff, these.
1. In the event of you pursuing in your demand you have no choice at before the only judicatory tribunal
which in case of non-compliance on the part of the defendant can give effect
to it you have no choice at all: reason as above; is
2. If you have any at all at the benefit looked for from it is not in value
so great as that of the burthen to which by perseverence you will subject yourself.
