1. Justice of Peace Courts
1 Official Procedure

1. First there as to Justice of Peace Courts
and therein first as to Procedure
The above indispensable distinction having been made
now as to the summarily-proceeding Judicatories
which by unity of appellation had been confounded with the one regularly-proceeding
Judicatory.

And in the first place as to what belongs to them in common —
— the course which they take in the of procedure.

Compared with the features of the regular
mode, those of the summary made of the existing
system will be seen to be — chiefly, and little less than
exclusively — of the negative cast: consisting in
the exclusion put, in the whole, or in degree, upon
the Devices employed in bringing the correspondent
part of the existing system to that pitch of inaptitude
and turpitude which has been seen. To the list of
of these purifying and health ensuring producing and
testifying features, expression may ben given as
follows. —

2. Commencement given to the suit by
application made by the proposed pursuer.
