19. That Your Petitioner can not bring himself finds it difficult
to believe that in the mind of any man whether belonging
to the professional or to the Official Class of Lawyers, there
exists can exist so much a single individual who being acquainted in a mediate degree
with both these systems, really regards the regular and technical system
as being in any part so conducive to the ends of justice, as
the summary mode, as as modified and in its application excluded meliorated by the
amendment proposed in the said Petition for Justice indicated

20 That in proof of this assertion, he offers the challenges
the which making every individual contained comprehended in either of
those classes to come forward and disprove contest the correctness of
any one of the charges by him proferred in the said publication, against the regular
system: as likewise to point into the inaptitude in every
part of the system hereb herein and hereby proposed in
lieu of it

21. That preferring but the most important interests of the community at
large to the interest of the factitious entity called chance
he humbly begs leave of the Honble House to include in
this challenge such its own members as belong to the profession:
humbly the House to take wheth that he accordingly hereby makes an explicit of their inability
to attempt on the produce in defence of the existing regular system for the one purpose or the other
any argument which comes can with propriety be rendered under
the head of appropriate reasoning: in the way of objection to his
proposed modification of the summary system any argument the
proper practical result of which can be the rejection of thereof, or any
thing more than an amendment of it in respect of this or that
particular feature of it, or prop arrangement proposed by it.
