Nor would the sacrifice be really so great in reality as as it appears
to be in appearance. A King however absolute may throw off the whole
of his power easily enough: but even were he ever so much it is not so easy
to throw off a part as might be imagined: the
part that remains will still continue to draw after
it the rest. It would take require pains to train a
people up to freedom: and there are nations perhaps
