sequestrations, a great part of the funds & and effects belonging
to the said sequestrated Estates have been feloniously
abstracted & carried off, part of which has been disposed
of and the remainder fraudulently concealed, and that
Mrs Hunter otherways Miller, the sister of the
said Bankrupts & who resided in family with them,
has been actor, on art & part in the said felonious abstracting,
& fraudulent concealment of the said funds & effects,
for which crime the Petitioners means to have her brought
to condign punishment, and therefore makes this
application to the Lordships. Praying therefore for
a warrant in manner underwritten, as the said
petition lodged in the hands of the Clerk of the High
Court of Justiciary bears. These therefore grant
warrant to and ordains sheriffs of Shires, Stewarts
of Stewartries, Magistrates of Burghs
