Of Accessory Offences
1 An act of preparation, what
the individual object, or without having fixed upon the
individual period of time, or without doing all that is
in his power or that he thinks necessary towards th producing
the obnoxious event.
Or more briefly thus
Otherwise defined
An unlawful act of a law preparation is any act done in
the intention of producing an obnoxious event
and short of an attempt.

Punishment for an attempts
Attempts shall be punished in the same manner
and degree as the consummated offences to which they
respectively relate, in every respect article except such part as much
as is made proportionable (A) to the quantity of the mischief quantum of pecuniary damage. To p. 14. No 2.

3 Punishment for acts of preparation
An act of preparation may be punished in with any
manner not varying in kind nor exceeding in quantity punishment not exceeding
the punishment for an attempt.
Punishments not to be accumulated.
Although a man should be do the train of conduct
which a man has pursued in the intention
of producing the sum a given obnoxious event should be distinguishable
into divers offences of preparation or even divers attempts he shall not
be punished more than as for one attempt: to wit that
attempt which has been attended with the most obnoxious aggravated
circumstances. So This extends also to such accessory offences as are Punishments subsequent
