Of Forgery Of Co-offenders
19
From p. 14 No 1
Parts which a man may take in an active way at the time of the obnoxious event — Encouragement, what
When the period of time at which the guilty
offender is concerned is co-temporary to the obnoxious
event the his offence the distinctions of
which his offence is susceptible are not materially
different from the above. This period is
mentioned only for conformity, since by reason
of the infinite brevity of it, it may be looked upon
without any material error as co-inciding with one that
or the other which precedes or that which follows
it. A In general it may be observed that at this
period strictly speaking proposal, instigation, instruction, or subornation
advice command invitation, petition, exhortation,
entreaty applauding are at end: Assistance, safeguard, and protection however remain: and in the room of invitation
comes encouragement.
