Of Compensation
Damage pecuniary, profit none.
quasi-pecuniary, but and the author of the damage receives no
profit whatsoever. These Cases occupy the fourth rank
among those which afford a claim to compensation.

Example
Cases of this sort are those in which damage happens
to a man's property in consequence of an act or neglect,
which being unintentional with respect to the damage,
or proceeding upon a mis-supposal is no offence
unless it be in the sense case of heedlessness.

Cases that have the 5th best Claim to Compensation.
Another set of Cases are those in which the author
of the damage (as before) reaps no profit of any kind,
and the inconvenience sustained by the party damnified
is not pecuniary. Damage not pecuniary, profit none. These cases occupy the Fifth and last
rank among those which afford a claim to compensation.

Of this sort are personal injuries and injuries to
