Thus with regard to apparel. If a man lose for
instance a coat which he bought new and has half-worn,
it is not enough on the score of simple restitution to give
him as much money as a half-word coat of the same
sort is to be bought for: he ought to have as much
given him as will enable him to buy a new one. For
