23 C Of Compensation

so many of them as have not yet obtained judgment for
compensation and whose claims are still in force, the author
may at any time call upon them all to see their demands
consolidated; as if they had been all damaged by one and
the same act, according to art:

§. IX. Provision for an equal Distribution
of Effects among Parties damnified.

Notice for Co-Sufferers by the same offence to come in.
Where a number of persons receive damage
from one and the same offence or from a multitude of successive
offences committed within a short space of time of each
other in prosecution of the same design, and one or more of
the persons endamaged prosecutes the offender, the Judge,
before he adjusts definitively the amount of the compensation
money, shall give public notice for all persons
endamaged to come in by a time certain; making only
allowance for temporary impediments and disabilities.
This is to prevent one person's absorbing the whole fund. Let
