22. C Of Compensation

whom by law or the customs and manners of the country he is bound
to yield support.

3. His rank; the higher it is. Because every rank according to the
notions of mankind is apt to require a man to be at a certain expence
in supporting it, on pain of being regarded with contempt.

§ect XII.
§. XII. In what cases, Compensation is
extinguished by lapse of Time.

The right of demanding compenation is extinguished in
the different cases hereinafter following by different lengths of time, under
the exceptions following;
Simple Personal Injuries 3 Months
Irreparable Personal Injuries 3 Months
