C
Of the conservation of the Laws
1
Once in a hundred years let the Laws be
revised, for the sake of changing such terms
and expressions as by that time may have
become obsolete.
2
This will be mere needful in regard to
the language of the legal formularies, in than
of the bodytext of the laws themselves.
Reasons avoiding mystery.
There also refer prohibition of comments
3
Where a passage appears obscu obscure, let
it be cleared up rather by alteration than
by comment. This for the sake of brevity
and methodicalness : as also of perc precision. The mere words
there are the mere there are about which
doubts may be entertained.
