the intention of which
is to operate a change
in the legal rights of a
person or persons
other than the agent.

is any act the
declared intention of which
is to give to some
person or persons
other than the undertaker
a right
to have certain services
rendered to him
of them by the undertaker,
or in other words
to impose upon
himself a legal
obligation in favour
of another: the
obligation to exercise
in favour of another
certain acts which are or are supposed to be of a
nature to render
service to that
other.

A conveyance
or act of conveyance
is an act whereby
in virtue and by
means of certain
dispositions previously
made in that behalf
by the powers of
government a
change is made
in the legal rights
of a certain person
or persons in relation
to a certain
subject matter.

Taking conveyance
then in its utmost
possible latitude
by considering the
conveyor himself
the person himself
who exercises the
act of conveyance
in a word the person of the conveyor
himself
as rendering constituting himself
in virtue of his own active faculties the subject
matter of the
conveyance, a legal
undertaken may
be spoken of as
an act of conveyance
a right to
services: conveying
to some other person
a right to have
certain acts of a serviceable
nature exercised
in his favour
by the person undertaking.
