Copied a note from J.B.
to Mr Bowring asking him
to speak a word for him
to some of his friends, of
more consideration than
Mora.
Took to Mr. Lawrence's
to be put either in the charge
of the Captain of the vessel,
or in the box for Madrid.

Called on Mr Bowring
with J.B's note enclosing
a Copy of the List of J
B's works about to be
sent to Madrid º Mr. B.
not being at home, left
in writing Mr Bentham's
communication to him.
Called on Mr. Lawrence –
had the packet for Madrid
at his House opened to put
in last number of Queen's
Trial.

Came a Letter from Bl. Bayonne a Sept. 9.
Took to Mr. Lawrences the
15th, 16th, 18th Septr. Travellers
with some more placards
to fill up the Box.
Called on, and got from
Mr Bowring 3 Spanish Vols
for J.B. – Unable, as yet,
to get J.B. a sight of the
Spanish newspapers.

Left at Mr Bowrings the
3 volumes borrowed of him
yesterdays – not at home
so left J.B's communication
in writing, enclosing
for perusal Bl's Letter of
9th – and requesting its return
by Mr. Lawrence this
day.
Called at Mr. Holme's – at
Brigton – has recd. the Letter
alluded to in Bl's Letter to
J.B. and has sent it to Morn.
Chron – insertion given this day.

Mr. Blaquiere to J.B. dated
Bayonne 10th & 12th
Septr.
R.D. sent to Coulsons –
got from him 3 Travellers –
took them to Mr. Lawrences
to be sent along with the
packet for Mr. Mora.

Wrote and took to Freeman's
Court an invitation to
Mr. Bowring to dinner tomorrow
– Saturday.
He will come.
Took to Foreign Post office

directed to Mr Bell as before.
Also a letter from J.B.
to Mr. Mora – direction
