use it as a means of channel for communicating all the doubts
that happen to occur to them respecting the Law in the execution

take such doubts into consideration, on which occasion they
might be empower'd to do two things — 1st to solve those
Answers doubts by Answers which should have the force of
Law — 2dly to grant an indemnity to the such Country
Magistrates as may have acted under such doubts whether
the difficulty of the case may have been such as to exclude all
imputation either of partialty or of uncommon ignorance. + see this done all-
