their quota of money, should as pay the sum of
weekly to procure a substitute chosen by the
other partner.

8 That any proprietor obliged to desist from
his literary contribution, and from the king his share
of in the conduct of the business by unforeseen circumstances,
should be, subject to the same obligation.

9 That on the transfer of a share, the person
acquiring should not be admitted to write, and conduct
the business, unless the other parties should approve of
his diligence and abilities. Certainly -

10. That no dividend should be made, nor any
sum subtracted for individual purposes, from the
produce of the paper, till the whole purchase should
be acquitted.

11 That if possible there should be a daily
committee of proprietors to inspect the matter going
to press, and to consult concerning their several contributions;
and that a room should be hired for that
purpose, where such of the papers as deserve notice
should be taken. Two stand in one another's way & retard instead of
accelerating business

Good 12 That to encourage the publick to bring advertisements,
and to prevent complaints of tardy and
partial insertion, all advertisements should be numbered
