who has not zeal
and relish

No engagement
for any specific
measure or species
of instruction
They take their
chance like other
Law-Pupils

to those who pay
than to those who
receive - the attention
will be
naturally proportioned
to the degree attention
in which each man contributes
for to the end
in view, by zeal
application or talent.

Money Fees if demanded

No duty will
be required which
a mere copying
Clerk could perform
as well,
but in other respects
their time
to be at commands
so long
as the connection
continues,
they are not to consider
themselves
as ill used by
the requisition.

It is not necessary
to his
plan that the
fees received
should be altogether equal
the Salaries paid:
though certainly
the more he
receives, the
more he will be
able to pay.

Constitutional
branch the nearest
approaching
to perfection
- the last to be
touched - Requires
no alteration
but no
points comparatively
of
small importance -

No possible
improvement
of such importance
as
to be worth
purchasing at
the expence of
a single drop
of British blood
shed in such
a cause. -

No improvement
wished
to be introduced
but through and
by the legislation
and with the
full concurrence
and hearty approbation
of
the legislature
as at present
constituted.

Rights of man
18 years ago demonstrated
to be
nonsense and dangerous
nonsense
15 or 16 years before
events demonstrated
it to be such mischievous
nonsense

Though the result
of his researches
have not
led him to wish look
upon for what is called
a Reform of Parliament
as a desirable
event he is
too sensible to the
plausibility of the
arguments on that
side as well as to the authority of respect due to so many respectable names as have declared in favour of it to look upon it
as an as any sort of impeachment
of the understanding
and too well disposed

But no man
who brought with him
both by principle
and habits to the
toleration of all sorts
of opinions however
different from his
own to make that
or any other opinion
sincerely entertained
and quietly maintained
as a ground of
or a symptom
of incompatibility of
other positions. But

But he is fully
convinced sensible, and it
is incumbent upon
him to declare that
any disposition
capable of taking viewing
with pleasure in the prospect of political
disturbances,
or that would wish
to over awe the
legislators and the
better instructed
part of the community
by working
upon the prejudices or passions
and prejudices of
the least-instructed
would find any
comfort satisfaction in the such
society as he has
to offer, or any
sort of sympathy with his
views.

And though even
such dispositions and
wishes may not be
incompatible with a
sincere affection for
mankind, and never
ardent zeal for the
promotion of general
good, yet where there
is so radical & fundamental difference with

with regard to the
means, the the more ardent <add>the common</add> general
affection for the end.
Unless likely to combine
in any sort
of social harmony.

Adults not excluded
Glad of the society
of any who
joing a for
improvement with
the necessary attention
to professional
pursuits would take
pleasure in promoting
the design,
and contribute such
information and other assistances as are
not to be had but
from practical
men and in proportion
to their practice
