fine flour beside 2 Bushel of bran & 1/2 bushel of coarse flour
4 Bushel of Flour weighs 56 lb & makes 44 loaves of the
quartern or 4 gallon loaves each 8lb. 11.
Mrs Watts (the Miller at Pewsey) says 56 lb will make 8 gallon
loaves White Wheat is at 6d a Bushel per gallon loaf alls for 9 d1/2

Agreable to your desire, I have procured you a statement
of the allowance of provisions to the convicts
They are all divided into Messes consisting of six in number,
and the provision mentioned below is for one mess, and
is the allowance for those working on shore. If they are on
board ship, and not at work, they have but 6 pounds of bread
