In this the idea is
formed in the mind,
it is then ideally, expressed
upon the surface
it is afterwards
to be traced upon, the
hand guiding the tool
at an almost imperceptible distance & following the eye
as it conceives the image
& applies it to the surface where it
is to be expressed.
