supposition of their not standing is,

in ten out of ten? His answer is — in one
crime time only and that one time being
in my conception of the matter one
time too many. As to this point laying
out of the case the means whereby

see no reason for departing from hence

But here again may be seen another
gratuitous assumption supposition which
lest the confusion should not be yet
quite enough is added to the rest. This
is that by every person by whom this
system of dispensing with the laws
nine times out of ten is not approved
an opinion that cannot but be entertained
