Offences of Rapacious indigence of which
individually taken —
nineteen out of twenty of the cases of
capitally punished, are composed.

This list has been at different all times
multifarious has within the memory of
man been at different times different.
At no time has it been completely within
my knowledge of what individual personages
it was composed; and if it had
been being about to say that which I am
about to say were it now in my power
to form any such list, I know better things
than to make communication of it.
Some individual of this number for
aught I could be sure of there might
be to whom feeling what I have to say
on the subject might prove painful
injurious offensive vulnerary or something
to that or the like purport or effect.
and in that case if there were any thing
wrong in the acts which I have to allude
to who is there that would be punished
for it, not the wrong doer but myself
not he for doing wrong but myself for telling
