I. Judicial

1. Special confession, of sufficiently
ample a ground of
itself for conviction.

2. General, not:v:i: further
interrogation should be
administered: of which thein
case of delinquency the result will be either to Special
confession sufficiently ample.

respive in part: and
from these; if the falsity may
be made not either from
self contradiction or external
evidence, sufficient ground for
conviction may be made out.

not be inclusive

of being disproved.

1. Confessor guilty of a great
crime, of which he is not guiltyconfessor in less to

compleat or present.

3. terrified and so confesses
by relation.

scarce exemplified but
in the case of impossible
crimes - such as Witchcraft.

5. Where it is to him the
effect of pleasing, by relation
- the statement referred
to should be false understood
by the confessionalist. This
useful as a momento, and
in instruction needless.
