for Drawing fine Lines on the Stone, but the lines are
not so strong and seldom look so sharp as those made
with a fine Pen.

Pen & Ink Drawings or Writing on the Stone.
The stone having been prepared with a fine smooth
surface free from scratches should be washed over
with a little pure Oil of Infused when dry the
Drawing may be made, It will be found that it is
much easier to draw fine lines by so doing, and the
impressions are also better.

The lines drawn on the Stone as on Transfer Paper
should all be well charged with Ink, however fine
they may be as on this depends the clearness of
the impression.

Pen and Ink drawings made on the Stone may
be set with a rather stronger solution of Acid.

Chalk Drawings.

The Stone when required to be used for Chalk
