Lord Chancellor nearly altogether from the Chancery business
to the Judicial Business of the House of Lords.

Mr Nolan observed, that as the object and tendency of this measure was to facilitate the administration of justice, the
generality of the Gentlemen of the Law would be decided advocates
for its adoption, whether it interfered with their own individual
interests or not.

A division was here called for, and strangers were excluded,
but there being only twenty six Members present, an adjournment
took place of course."
