"Argos, Jan. 24.

Peloponnesus, 10 by that of Vrachore, 10 more by that of Salona
& the remaining 10 by the Islanders of the Archipelago. Here are
the 20 names chosen by our Peloponnesian Junta:– Germanos
Arch Bp of Patros; Attranasius Canaeare, John Diamantis,
Sotese Chalalempe, Andreas Zaime, Panagiote, Crebatus, Anagosta
Dilijean, George Sisine, Panous Notarat, Demetrius
Peroueas, the Bishop of Andruso, Neophyte Bambas, Benjamin
Lesbros, Peter Manromicale, Demos Spartiate, Polychrone
Quanetos, Theodorus Blaze, George Calliras, Samoule Prastiole,
& Constantine Cazaza.
On the taking of the Acrocorinthus, the Greeks found
more than 20 millions of piastres of Turkey (about 15 millions of
francs.) These riches were principally composed of the treasures of
the ancient & opulent family of the Bey of Corinth, Keamil. The
revenues of this family amounted to more than two millions pr
annum. In the commencement of the disturbances Keamil
had shut up his treasures in this place which was considered
impregnable. One eigth of this treasure has been distributed to the
army, the rest is in the possession of Government."
